ABOUT THE ROLE

Spectral is seeking a talented Front-end Developer to join our core team. The role will involve working on Vue.js applications focused on visualizing time-series energy data coming from our REST APIs. Activities will involve the development of new front-end features for various projects, building tools and components that can be reused across multiple products, standardizing and maturing our front-end stacks and workflows following industry standards and best practices.

This position is based in the Netherlands.

ABOUT YOU

You must be able to work independently and have a high attention to detail, be a proactive problem solver and work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment. You should be highly motivated to join us on our mission and contribute your skills and efforts to solving the complex challenges related to the energy transition.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

5+ years of front end development work
Vue.js (strong candidates with experience with other modern MVC style JS frameworks will be considered)
Vuex (or any other state management library)
Sass or Less (we use Sass)
Interacting with REST APIs
Automated testing (we use Jest)
Git
Fluent in English

NICE TO HAVES

Experience with building user-friendly and performant visualizations of time-series data
Experience with interactive 3D models (preferably using Three.js)
Experience with building enterprise design systems and component libraries
Familiarity with CSS methodologies/systems/architecture (e.g. BEM, OOCSS, etc.)
